Roadmap to Significance

Have you ever desired greater significance in your life but didn't know how to get it? There is a roadmap that leads to a life of greater significance that some instinctively walk, some through trial and error stumble onto, and others just can't quite figure out on their own. The good news is that while not everyone walks into significance naturally, there are discoverable principles that can be pieced together to form a roadmap that we can all follow.

For me, I thought I had made it. I was a successful small business owner. I achieved my dreams and independence but something was missing. Even though I was successful I couldn't shake this nagging feeling that something was missing and I started questioning if there was more to life. I eventually realized that I was lacking significance. My life was good but I wasn't accomplishing anything significant, the world wasn't a better place because of me.

I found myself in a frustrating predicament. I knew where I wanted to go—make a significant difference in the world—but I didn't know how to get there. I realized that I had vision without direction and I came to the conclusion that there is no point in knowing where you want to go if you don't have the foggiest idea of how to get there. Significance seemed like a distant dream that I could never achieve.

Then one day, it was as if a light went off in my head, "I need a roadmap". I need something to guide me to where I wanted to be. So, I began to observe others that were doing great things for God and I pieced together 5 landmarks in the journey to significance.

But here's the interesting thing, the 5 landmarks aren't just steps or principles to follow, but mindsets to adopt. You see if you implement principles without adopting the right mindset you're doomed to failure before you ever begin. Because your mindset determines how you approach life and how you approach life determines what you get out of life. If you don't have the right mindset, your approach will be off and you'll never reach your destination.

The first landmark in the roadmap to significance is Getting Your Bearings. Just like when you look at a map you need to figure out which way is north, you also need a major mindset adjustment to figure out which direction you should head toward. If you don't get your bearings, you might think you're heading north when in reality you're heading south and end up in the wrong place. If you want to discover the mindset that will help you Get Your Bearings click on the link below and I'll send you five emails that will help you start walking the road of greater significance.
